Summer Updates

  • (30th June) Alexander Thomson was competing in Doncaster at the British T20 championships and came away with Gold in 110m hurdles and British record holder, Gold in javelin and silver in long jump.
  • (8 July) Nathan Fleetwood won 2 golds in the 100m and 200m At Grangemouth at the Forth Valley Championships with 2 season's best.
  •  (11 July) GAA Sprint Gala
    • Iain McEwan, Zach Bryson, Sarah Bassett and Bethan Malley won the 4 x 200m mixed relay
  • (14 July) Alexander Thomson at the Scottish combined events championship at the weekend he followed up his good form with a T20 British record in his first Heptathlon 2961 points which would have achieved silver at last years T20 world championships.
  • (14 July) Combined Events National Championships Well done to the Whitemoss athletes who took part at the National Combined Events Championships. The competition saw Kyle Mcaulay achieve 7 PBs from the 10 events, Matt Chandler, 5 PBs, Alex Thomson, 4 PBs, Nicole Cameron, 3 PBs and Courtney Fraser putting together a good score in her first outdoor Pentathlon. Ross Morgan posted a PB in the Hurdles in the open competition too.
  • (16 July) Nathan Fleetwood has been representing GB at the INAS European Championships in Paris last week in the 100m and 200m. He has made the finals in the 200m – updates to follow

 

  • Scotland Vests!!!..
    • A special first vest for Emily Craig – selected to compete at the Welsh U20 International in track and field (400m hurdles) in Swansea on Wed 25 July
    • Holly McArthur also selected for the 100m hurdles
    • Similarly well done to Greg Kelly – son of Eddie and Anne who has also been awarded his first Scottish vest at the same event (200m)
