Ross Morgan success

Whitemoss Athlete Ross Morgan has been among the medals recently after top displays for his club and school. The 15 year old, recently attended the National Indoor Under 17 Championship held at the Emirates Arena where he took home 2 medals, He won silver in the shot putt with an impressive throw of 11.86m and he went on to compete in the 60m
 Hurdles where he secured a bronze medal with a time of 8.60 to record a new club record of 10 secs . Ross is pictured in action, photos by Bobby Gavin Following his success he then attended the Scottish Schools Championships where earned Silver in the Shot put with a superior throw of 13.52m. The following day Ross secured a Gold medal in the 60m Hurdles with a brilliant time of 8.56sec.
Ross trains regularly from Whitemoss AAC with his Coach Tom Graham. Tom said proudly "Ross works hard at every aspect of his training and is very focused on improving as an athlete ". HE has great support from his Family as well. Ross was also recently was given 2 awards by his own club for his performances last year. Junior Male Athlete of the Year Athlete's athlete of the Year!
